Jovina Romero, RN BSN
Jovina grew up in our beautiful city of Rancho Cucamonga! As a child, she struggled with health conditions that resulted in numerous hospitalizations, surgeries, and blood transfusions. Therefore, she knows first-hand what it feels like to be a patient in need of quality care. Jovina’s lifelong dream was to become a Registered Nurse. During her senior year of high school, she attended night classes to become a certified nurse assistant and completed this milestone just months before high school graduation. This marked the beginning of her exciting healthcare journey! A couple of years later, she challenged herself to her next stepping stone, which was becoming a certified phlebotomy technician, she excelled in that role for a decade of her life - hosting blood drives and collecting life saving blood donations. All in the while, she married her high school sweetheart, Cameron Romero, also a Rancho Cucamonga native. In this special city, is where the couple met, fell in love, and started a family.
Jovina went on to receive her Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from West Coast University. She started her nursing career and continues to devote her time at the prestigious and nationwide known hospital, City of Hope. She was the first RN New Grad Resident to ever be selected for one of City of Hope's 30 community practice sites in Southern California. She learned her role as an infusion nurse in a busy, high-acuity ambulatory center, as well as being cross-trained with various procedures in outpatient surgical oncology. Jovina is a compassionate, highly skilled, oncology nurse who has honed her ability to adapt and quickly impact a team – due to the sadness and suffering of the many patients’ she has helped care for, Jovina was inspired to provide a service that could bring preventative care and wellness to her beloved community. It was always a dream of Jovina and Cameron to start a business. They couldn’t think of anything better than owning their own IV hydration and vitamin therapy studio, where together they can combine their talents and provide excellence.
